A pro vocal isn't one plugin. It's a stack of them, in the right order, each doing one job. VocalRig models that entire chain and hides it behind six knobs.

A real-time tuner, first in the chain so it reads your clean signal. Set a key, then decide how obvious it should be.
One-time purchase · Yours forever
Not sure where to start? Hit Analyze and play a few seconds of your take. VocalRig listens to your voice and sets the whole chain up for it, then you fine-tune from a sound that's already 90% there. The Analyzer Mix slider lets you blend between your own settings and its recommendation, and every knob stays yours.
Not just the pitch of your take — a trained model plus your vocal-tract formants, so a high male hook doesn't get treated as a female lead.
Gain-stages the vocal onto the chain's sweet spot, so the compressors and saturation hit exactly where they should.
Reads the tone and dynamics of your voice and moves Warmth, Presence, Air, Comp, De-Esser and Drive to match.
Locks the de-esser onto where your sibilance actually lives, instead of a fixed guess.
Up to five narrow dynamic cuts and one broad fill, aimed at the resonances in your own take. A clean voice gets fewer.
A dynamic performance gets a slow auto-level ahead of the compressors, like a hand on the fader. An even one doesn't get it at all.
Works on any stereo vocal track — no mono tracks.
Insert VocalRig on your lead vocal track. Tuning included — one instance, and the whole chain is handled.
Start from a preset, then nudge Warmth, Presence or Air until it sits. Or just turn Drive up.
Dense, present, radio-ready: the sound of a full outboard chain, without the outboard.
Works in every major DAW

VocalRig is an all-in-one vocal chain plugin. It recreates a complete professional vocal-mixing chain as a single plugin you drop on your vocal: real-time pitch correction, channel strip, passive EQ, opto and FET compressors, an air exciter, multiband glue, a de-esser and a corrective Auto EQ — plus reverb and a tempo-synced delay on parallel sends. Instead of loading and dialing in a dozen separate plugins, you get the finished sound from six simple macro knobs.
Yes. There's a full real-time tuner built in, and it sits first in the chain so it tracks your clean signal before any compression or saturation colours it. You pick a key and a scale (major, minor, chromatic, the modes, or draw your own note set on the piano), and a tuner display shows the note you're actually landing on after correction. It's off by default — switch it on from the Pitch Correction panel.
Both, on one knob. Speed is the classic control: at zero the correction is instant, which is the hard, modern tuned effect; turn it up and the pitch glides into place so it just tidies things up. Three more knobs shape the feel — Flex widens the space around each note so deliberate scoops, slides and bends survive instead of being flattened, while Vibrato and Humanize keep sustained notes from going statue-still. There's also an input range (soprano, alto/tenor, low male, or automatic) that tells the detector where your voice lives.
It reports about 1.5 ms of latency, which your DAW compensates automatically, so tracking through it stays comfortable. When Tune is off, unvoiced, or idle, the audio passing through is bit-for-bit your dry signal, just delayed by that same amount — the tuner isn't quietly touching your sound when it has nothing to do.
Yes — turn on Tracking Mode from the plugin menu. It mutes the reverb and delay while you're recording, which is both what you want while tracking (you monitor dry) and where the CPU actually goes: on a 48 kHz session those two sends are about 42% of the plugin's load. One honest caveat — it does not reduce latency. Nearly all of the ~1.5 ms sits in the pitch corrector, and the reverb, delay, de-esser and EQs each report zero.
Modelled. Each stage is built on how the real hardware behaves — feedback compression, program-dependent opto release, passive-EQ curves — not an EQ-and-compressor preset with a nice picture on it. It runs 4× oversampled where it matters, denormal-safe and sample-rate independent, and the oversampling adapts to your session rate so the CPU cost doesn't scale with it.
For most vocals, no — that's the point of building the tuner in. Where a dedicated editor still wins is surgical, note-by-note work: redrawing a melody, fixing timing, tuning stacked harmonies by hand. VocalRig's tuner is a real-time corrector, so it's the fast route rather than the microscope. You can also use both: hand-edit in Melodyne first, leave Tune off, and let VocalRig do the rest of the chain.
VocalRig ships as VST3 and Audio Unit (AU). It runs natively on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows, so it works in Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, GarageBand and every other major DAW that hosts VST3 or AU. Pro Tools isn't supported — it needs an AAX build, which VocalRig doesn't ship.
First, right at the top of your vocal chain. Tuning is built in and runs before any of the colour stages, on your clean signal — which is exactly where a tuner wants to be, since compression and saturation make pitch harder to track. Only clean-up belongs in front of it: noise removal and clip-gain rides. If you'd rather do detailed hand-editing in Melodyne, do that first and leave VocalRig's Tune switched off.
VocalRig needs a stereo track. Insert it on a stereo vocal channel (most DAWs default new audio tracks to stereo already) rather than a true mono track, since the reverb and delay stages are built around a stereo signal.
Your license activates on one computer at a time. If you switch machines you can deactivate the old one and activate the new one, so you're never locked to a single dead laptop.
Because you're buying two different things. Bought outright, VocalRig is a one-time payment and it stays yours: it keeps working whether or not you ever open ToplineBase again. On Pro or Elite the plugin rides along with your subscription, so it works while you're subscribed and stops when you cancel. Straight answer: if you're already pitching toplines here, Pro is the better deal — €49.99 for a year gets you VocalRig and everything else in the tier. Buy it outright if you want the plugin on its own terms and don't need the platform around it.
No — VocalRig doesn't come with a money-back guarantee. It's digital content delivered the moment you buy, so the sale is final once your serial has been issued. That doesn't touch your statutory consumer rights, and it doesn't mean you're on your own: if the plugin won't install, won't authorise or misbehaves, email support@toplinebase.com and we'll fix it or make it right.
Yes. VocalRig is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Buy it once and it's yours, with free updates. Your serial number always lives in your ToplineBase dashboard, so you can re-download the installers any time.
Analyze is VocalRig's listen-and-dial feature. Hit ANALYZE, play a few seconds of your vocal, and it listens to your take: it works out whether the voice is male or female, gain-stages your input onto the chain's sweet spot, moves all six macros and the de-esser frequency to fit your tone and dynamics, writes a corrective Auto EQ aimed at the resonances in your own voice, and — if your performance is dynamic enough to need it — sets a slow auto-level ahead of the compressors. It's a smart starting point, not a verdict: the Analyzer Mix slider blends between your own settings and the recommendation, and every knob stays yours to tweak.
No. That's the point. The processors underneath are already set up the way a mix engineer would wire them, so there's no rack to configure and no ratios to guess at. The six macros move the right settings by the right amount, the tuner asks you for a key rather than a technique, and you judge the result the way you'd judge any vocal: by ear.
